David Beavis

Photographic Artist, David Beavis, was born in Western Australia in 1968 and he was given his first camera, a KODAK instamatic, at the age of 12. David's eye for composition, the use of light and photographic artistry was recognized immediately. He won his first prize in an open to all ages photographic competition at age 13. David has been dedicated to the craft of photography ever since and is considered a modern day master of light and composition.

David has the ability to capture the beauty of our natural world in a way rarely seen. His landscape images evoke spectacular peace and magnificent solitude in which the viewer becomes one with the landscape. Comparisons as to being the Ansell Adams of color and modern day photography have been made on numerous occasions.

Over the years David has been a photographer of people, sport and photo journalism, however from the time he picked up his first camera the beauty of the worlds natural landscape has had David captivated. Combining this with his love for travel, David has been able to visit and photograph some of the world’s most magnificent locations.

With over 60 International Awards to his credit, collectors are fast recognizing David’s work as valued pieces of fine art. It's David vision  that his work be available to all people and all budgets which has  him producing images in both limited edition and open edition ranges. David oversees the production process to ensure that the images are produced to the highest photographic standards available. His work has become talking pieces in homes, hotels and restaurants around the world and a peaceful and restful addition to medical centers where clients can get lost in the natural beauty.

David also has the desire to share his knowledge with those that share a love and passion for the art of photography. David co-hosts photographic workshops locally and away in magnificent locations for those that want to invest in their joy of photography.

In December 2013 David moved from Western Australia with his wife Anthea and their 4 children to make a new home in Park City Utah. The beauty of Utah’s natural landscape and being centrally located to some of the most beautiful locations in the world was a major draw to this location. David hopes that his photographic artistry can bring some joy and peace into your life
